Motorola is yet again ready to storm the tech world with their Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. They are ready to launch the all new Motorola Moto G Gen 4 on Tuesday, 17th May 2016. The 4th Gen Moto phone will be released in two variants, the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus. These two phones have been a hot topic of discussion and there have been many rumors regarding the specifications of the phones. A new benchmark listing of the phone popped up on the internet, further revealing some other specifications on the much awaited phones.
Motorola Moto G4 Specifications and Features
The Geekbench leak spots the Moto G4 running on Android Marshmallow 6.1.1! It’s almost clear that the phone will definitely be based on the MSM8952 chipset which means it’s either going to be powered by the Snapdragon 615 or the Snapdragon 617 processor. Both of these are octa-core processors capable of effortless multitasking. The Geekbench score leaked for the phone shows the single-threaded performance at a decent 937 points and the multi-threaded score at 4451 points.
Motorola Moto G4 Plus Specifications and Features
Other rumors surrounding the phone seem to indicate that the Moto G4 will have 2GB of RAM, and 32GB ROM. It’s also speculated to have a 13MP rear camera. The Moto G4 Plus will slightly faster with 3GB of RAM, 32GB ROM, and a 16MP back camera. An added bonus for the Moto G4 Plus is the inclusion of a finger print sensor which adds an extra spark to the already much anticipated phone. It’s features like this which will make the Moto G4 Plus really stand out from the rest.
There have been quite a few teasers from Motorola regarding the launch of the Moto G4 in India. Motorola firmly believes that they have got it right this time and we can only hope for improved battery life, camera quality, and overall performance enhancements. The success which Motorola has been achieving over the past few years from the launch of the Moto 1st Gen is truly unparalleled. Let’s hope that all the phones don’t run out on the first day itself as had been happening since the release of the Motorola 1st Gen phone. As of now there hasn’t been any information regarding the pricing of these units but since Motorola has always intended this line-up as a budget oriented line-up we expect that both these phones will hit the shelves for under Rs15000, with the Moto G4 being at least Rs2000 lower than the Moto G4 Plus.
